Democrat Hillary Clinton won New Mexico’s five electoral votes Tuesday night, holding onto a state that has voted Democratic in five of the past six presidential elections.
Networks called the state for Mrs. Clinton shortly after 10 p.m. eastern time, about an hour after the state’s polls closed. Polling in the final weeks of the campaign had showed Mrs. Clinton with a significant lead over Republican Donald Trump, who faced a huge gap in support among Hispanic voters.
