If Hillary Clinton wins Ohio Tuesday, it might be the biggest assist of LeBron James’ career.
The NBA superstar campaigned for the Democratic presidential nominee Sunday at a rally in Cleveland.
The Cleveland Cavilers forward introduced Clinton and encouraged people to vote. He told the crowd that he understood the notion that feeling like your vote doesn’t matter, but he said, “it really does.”
“We have to get out and make sure we vote,” James said. “We have to get knowledgeable about what’s going on and what our future entails. (Clinton) has the brightest future for our world.”
James also introduced his fellow teammate J.R. Smith, who was on stage with his daughter.
James endorsed Clinton in early October with an op-ed on Business Insider. He said that he believed Clinton would build on President Barack Obama’s legacy.
