DALLAS (AP) - Riley Ferguson went 20-of-27 for 287 yards and four touchdowns and Memphis beat SMU 51-7 on Saturday.

Memphis gained 257 total yards in the first half and led 38-7. Ferguson had TD passes of 50, 4, 20 and 21 yards before halftime and Darrell Henderson returned a kickoff 99-yards for a touchdown.

Doroland Dorceus carried it 14 times for 77 yards - with a long of 55 - and one touchdown for Memphis (6-3, 3-2 American Athletic Conference). Anthony Miller had his fifth 100-yard receiving game of the year with 102 yards. He’s also scored two touchdowns for the second-consecutive game.

Memphis forced three turnovers and now has forced 23 on the season.

Ke’Mon Freeman gained 83 yards on the ground for SMU (4-5, 2-3), which had its two-game winning streak snapped. Ben Hicks was 17-of-31 for 170 yards and one touchdown.
