TOWSON, Md. (AP) - Baltimore County officials are dedicating a new war memorial.

Officials are dedicating the Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom Memorial on Saturday at the Historic Courthouse in Towson.

The memorial is a large, rough stone representative of the stone in Iraq and Afghanistan. The names of servicemen with ties to Baltimore County who were killed during those operations are etched onto it.

The monument is near the county’s memorial honoring Vietnam War veterans, which is on the same property.
