KEENE, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire Republican U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte (AY’-aht) is targeting students with Facebook and Instagram ads playing off Chelsea Clinton’s visit to two college campuses.

Clinton is the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. She was campaigning for her mother at Keene State College and Dartmouth College on Friday.

Ayotte’s campaign ran online ads in those areas, saying, “Going to see Chelsea Clinton today? Click here.”

The ads show a picture of Clinton and include a link to an Ayotte campaign webpage describing her positions on college loans, equal pay and other issues.

Ayotte is seeking a second term. She’s in a tight race with Democratic Gov. Maggie Hassan (HAS’-uhn).

Ayotte says Hassan would be a rubber stamp for Hillary Clinton. Hassan says Ayotte lacks good judgment.
