SALEM, Ore. (AP) - State officials are considering three candidates to be the next director of the Oregon Department of Agriculture.

The Capital Press reports (https://is.gd/yK1PZc ) that the state’s Department of Administrative Services held interviews with ODA interim director Lisa Hanson and two other finalists on Wednesday.

Department of Administrative Services declined to disclose the identities of the other two candidates as it could damage their relationships with current employers.

Hanson has served as ODA’s interim director since October and before that was the agency’s deputy director.

The ultimate hiring decision will be up to Gov. Kate Brown.
