LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police have identified a suspect they believe is responsible for a half dozen armed robberies at convenience stores earlier this month.

Police say Lamar Griffin is a six-foot-one black man who weighs about 140 pounds. They say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators say Griffin is a suspect in six holdups at convenience stores in the southeast part of the Las Vegas Valley between Nov. 8 and Nov. 12.

He’s wanted on a warrant for six counts of robbery with a deadly weapon and six counts of burglary with a deadly weapon.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call Las Vegas police at 702-828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
