PHOENIX (AP) - Banner Health has acquired 32 urgent care facilities in the Phoenix and Tucson areas.

The Arizona Republic reports (https://bit.ly/2e2DOW5 ) that the company announced Tuesday that it completed the acquisition of the Urgent Care Extra facilities and is in the process of rebranding them as Banner Urgent Care.

The move adds more than 400 employees to Banner Health, one of the state’s largest private employers. Banner initially purchased the facilities in August.

Banner plans to have as many as 50 urgent care facilities opened by the end of 2017.
