WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) - Joey DeFloria had 150 yards on 31 carries and two touchdowns to send Bucknell past Georgetown 21-7 on Saturday.

Bucknell (4-6, 3-2 Patriot) started the scoring on a 14-yard run by DeFloria 50 seconds before halftime.

Chad Fresnock’s 1-yard TD ended an 8-play, 32-yard drive for a 14-0 lead early in the third quarter.

Four minutes later, Georgetown’s Clay Norris connected on a 23-yard TD pass to Jim McLaughlin to cut the deficit to 7.

DeFloria’s 28-yard score with 2:05 to play sealed the win.

Norris was 17-for-34 passing for 157 yards, a touchdown and three interceptions. Georgetown (3-7, 0-5) has lost seven straight after starting the season with a three-game win streak.

The Bison outgained Georgetown 295 to 190 in total yards.

The Bison have won 11 of their last 16 matchups since the Hoyas joined the Patriot League in 2001.
