BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn has been named to the 16-member executive committee of President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team.

Blackburn, who has represented the 7th Congressional District since 2002, was named to the panel on Friday as Trump announced a shakeup in his transition office that included the selection of his running mate, Mike Pence, to replace New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie as chairman.

Blackburn spoke on Trump’s behalf at the Republican National Convention in July.

Other members of the executive committee include fellow Reps. Lou Barletta and Tom Marino of Pennsylvania, Chris Collins of New York and Devin Nunes of California.

In addition, three of Trump’s adult children - Don Jr., Eric and Ivanka - are on the transition executive committee, along with Jared Kushner, Ivanka’s husband, and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus.
