COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho (AP) - Prosecutors have filed new charges against a northern Idaho man officials say shot and killed a man after a road-rage incident.

The Spokesman-Review (https://bit.ly/2fG5nCf ) reports that Kootenai County Prosecutor Barry McHugh has filed charges alleging that 44-year-old David E. Hutto shot and killed William “Bo” Kirk deliberately and with premeditation on Oct. 22.

Furthermore, a grand jury - which convened Wednesday - has also indicted Hutto of first-degree murder, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree arson and robbery.

According to court records, Hutto told investigators he was present when Kirk was killed.

Prosecutors have previous described Kirk’s death as a road-rage incident, which Hutto tried to conceal by setting Kirk’s vehicle on fire.

Officials have also arrested Justin Roy Booth, who is currently in federal custody and is providing information on Kirk’s death.

Kirk, 41, disappeared Oct. 22 after he left his job as an X-ray technician at Northwest Specialty Hospital in Post Falls. The husband and father of three never made it home that evening.
