Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo can not catch a break, even on what is supposed to be one of the more fun holidays of the year.
A large number of fans dressed as an “injured Tony Romo” this year for Halloween.
To be fair, there’s a lot that could be done with that costume idea. Since the start of the 2015 season, the 36-year-old has played in just four games due to his injuries. But, since 2013, he has suffered at least five major injuries. In 2013, it was a ruptured disk. In 2014, it was two transverse process fractures after taking a knee to the back. In 2015, he broke his left collarbone…twice. And, at the start of the year, in a preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks, Romo suffered a compression fracture of his L1 vertebra.
So, fans….or maybe enemies…had a field day.
