Appearing on the May 17 “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to promote the new season of NBC’s “The Voice,” singer and actress Miley Cyrus plugged her latest T-shirt design benefiting Planned Parenthood.

After discussing her new role as a coach on the singing-competition reality show, Mr. Fallon segued to discussing Miss Cyrus’s new T-shirt.

“They [Cyrus’s The Voice teammates] can learn a lot from you,” Mr. Fallon said, “because you’re also doing other stuff too for charity…. You’re releasing a T-shirt. Today?”

“Yeah, this just came out today,” Miss Cyrus answered as Mr. Fallon held up a T-shirt for his audience to see. “It’s a collab [sic] with Marilyn Minter and Marc Jacobs for Planned Parenthood,” she noted, referring to the photographer and fashion designer, respectively.

“It was just — I think it’s really important for me to be someone that speaks out about women’s health rights and reproductive rights, and I think that’s important for people to not be afraid to talk about that,” Miss Cyrus explained.

“When there’s a company that’s having a hard time being afraid of something, I’m a good person to put on the face of a T-shirt,” she added, quipping that she’ll “say it, no matter what the [expletive deleted] it is.”

As W Magazine reported last month, Miss Cyrus “presented Minter with Planned Parenthood’s Woman of Valor award, and unveiled a steamy portrait series they’d shot together, which they’re now selling 50 limited edition, $5,500 prints of on Artsy to raise money for the organization.”

Miss Cyrus’s “pro choice” T-shirt is apparently among “[t]he outtakes from the shoot [which] will soon end up on T-shirts by Marc Jacobs.”
