The Fox News Channel revealed Friday that Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton has agreed to appear in a town hall on Monday night, broadcast live by the network from Detroit. This is her first appearance on Fox News in two years; Mrs. Clinton last granted an interview to the organization in 2014 when she was promoting her book “Hard Choices.”

She will appear with Sen. Bernie Sanders on the one-hour special, to be moderated by chief political anchor Bret Baier at 6 p.m. ET before an audience of Michigan voters, just one night before the state’s primary. The stage is a historic one - the Gem Theater, a refurbished classic theater house built in 1927, primarily a venue for private events. The program will re-air at 11 p.m.

Mr. Baier was also the interviewer when Mrs. Clinton stopped by on her book tour, sharing the questioning with fellow host Greta Van Susteren.

Mr. Sanders is not such a stranger, meanwhile. He was recently on “FOX News Sunday with Chris Wallace” in February.

During her last visit, Mrs. Clinton suggested she had doubts about whether the Benghazi terror attack was triggered by “a protest over an anti-Islam film, though her State Department pushed that narrative for days,” according to Fox News archives.

“This was the fog of war,” Mrs. Clinton noted, later adding, “There’s no doubt terrorists were involved.”
