Sen. Ted Cruz’s wife, Heidi, is brushing off a threat by GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump to “spill the beans” on her in retaliation for a super PAC ad that denigrated his wife Melania.

Mrs. Cruz reiterated Wednesday that neither she nor Mr. Cruz had anything to do with an ad from the Make America Awesome PAC, an anti-Trump super PAC, showing Mr. Trump’s then-girlfriend Melania posing nude for British GQ in 2000.

Mr. Trump had tweeted, then quickly deleted, a message Tuesday night to Mr. Cruz saying “that is some low level ad you did using a picture Melania in a GQ shoot. Be careful or I will spill the beans on your wife.”

“Lyin’ Ted Cruz just used a picture of Melania from a G.Q. shoot in his ad. Be careful, Lyin’ Ted, or I will spill the beans on your wife!” he said in the second tweet.

Speaking to reporters Wednesday in Wisconsin, Mrs. Cruz said everybody should know by now “that most of the things that Donald Trump says have no basis in reality,” Politico reported.

“So we are not worried in the least, we are focused on our campaign, and we are going to continue to do that,” she said.
