Four men were shot and a D.C. Police officer was struck by a car outside of a liquor store near North Capitol Street and New York Avenue NE Wednesday afternoon.

The gunman approached a man outside the Big Ben liquor store and shot him. Then he turned his gun on three other men, according to police, who also said the shooting wasn’t random and the suspect is still at large.

A D.C. Police bicycle officer was hit by a car responding to the shooting, but is in good condition at an area hospital. The four men who were shot were also taken to a nearby hospital and are expected to survive.
