Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump on Thursday slammed a recent private meeting between Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton as “terrible” and “horrible,” saying in a radio interview it’s one of the big stories of the year.
“It is an amazing thing,” Mr. Trump said on “The Mike Gallagher Show.” “It was really a sneak … it was really something that they didn’t want publicized, as I understand it, is that correct?”
“Wow,” he said.
“I think it’s so terrible. I think it’s so horrible. I think it’s … one of the big stories of this week, of this month, of this year,” Mr. Trump said.
Ms. Lynch and Mr. Clinton had an impromptu private meeting as they crossed paths at an airport in Phoenix earlier this week.
The FBI is currently investigating likely Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s private email server she used as secretary of state. Ms. Lynch told reporters that the subject of the investigation did not come up at the meeting with Mr. Clinton, Mrs. Clinton’s husband.

“You know, I’ve been talking about the rigged system — how it’s rigged,” Mr. Trump said. “And this is terrible, and nobody can understand why nothing’s happened, and you see a thing like this, and even in terms of judgment, how bad a judgment is it for him or for her to do this?”
“I mean, who would do this?” Mr. Trump said. “It’s a massive story now. It’s all over the place.”
