Former House speaker Newt Gingrich on Sunday hammered presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton for her tattered foreign policy record.

He questioned why Mrs. Clinton’s experience is a seen as a positive in the presidential race.

“There’s no reason to believe that Hillary Clinton’s experiences qualify her for anything except retirement,” Mr. Gingrich said on “Fox News Sunday.”

“She was wrong on Brexit; she wanted the ’remain’ vote to win. She was wrong on Libya; she thought it would somehow get better if we knocked of [dictator Moammar] Gadhafi. She was wrong on the reset with Russia,” he said. “What has she been right about? Do we need more of this kind of experience?”

Mr. Gingrich also pointed to the former secretary of state’s cozy relationship with Wall Street and big donors, including several paid speeches to big banks like Goldman Sachs — the transcripts of which have not been released publicly.

“But I don’t know that that’s the kind of experience that, this fall, is going to work very well,” he said.
