Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump is warning that if President Obama wants to hit the campaign trail, Mr. Trump could end up going after him like he’s gone after former President Bill Clinton, who has been campaigning on behalf of likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

“This is a president who doesn’t have a clue,” Mr. Trump said of Mr. Obama at a rally in Sacramento Wednesday.

“He’s going to start campaigning,” Mr. Trump said. “Well, if he campaigns, that means I’m allowed to hit him just like I hit Bill Clinton, I guess, right?”

“If he doesn’t, I don’t care,” he said. “But if he campaigns, and I think he wants to, because he wants to keep this terrible agenda going, where everybody is ripping us — where the world is ripping us off.”

Mr. Obama did go after Mr. Trump during an appearance in Indiana earlier Wednesday and recently said during an overseas trip that world leaders have been “rattled” by the presumptive GOP nominee.
