Although Hillary Clinton is trying to emphasize the historic nature of her candidacy with a trip Friday to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, several female pro-life leaders will be there to remind the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee that millions of pro-life women stand against her.
Kristan Hawkins of Students for Life of America, Arina Grossu of the Family Research Council, Catherine Glenn Foster of Sound Legal, and Charmine Yoest are among the female pro-life leaders who will be on hand to denounce Mrs. Clinton’s speech to the abortion giant’s political arm.
“As female leaders in the pro-life movement who represent millions of women of all ages, we cannot celebrate this first nomination of a woman for the office of the U.S. president by a major political party because of Hillary Clinton’s radical pro-abortion record and alliance with the abortion lobby,” the group said in a statement. “The unholy alliance between Clinton and Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion chain, is disgraceful.”
The female pro-life leaders are not the only ones who will be outside of the Washington Hilton this afternoon to condemn Mrs. Clinton’s arrival.
The Christian Defense Coalition and Operation Rescue are both planning to stage their own protests denouncing Mrs. Clinton’s stance on abortion.
“We must stand against the Planned Parenthood/Clinton baby-killing cabal and expose their radical and barbaric abortion agenda to the public,” said Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue, in a press release. “God forbid that Hillary Clinton should become president and serve as Planned Parenthood’s puppet in the White House!”
