The “Terminator” went on safari and nearly got trampled by an angry elephant.

Hollywood star and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger shared video on Tuesday of a hairy encounter he had while vacationing in South Africa.

“Oh s—t!” Mr. Schwarzenegger says at the end of a YouTube video that features the animal chasing after his party’s jeep as it speeds off. The elephant initially scraped up against the side of the vehicle but was temporarily startled when its engine started. It then circled around back and prepared to charge.

“I couldn’t have written this safari encounter better if it was a movie,” the Hollywood icon said on his YouTube account. “I’m absolutely in awe of these beautiful, strong animals, even though some of us had to change our pants after this. We need to stop killing them. Take a photo, not a shot. Would you rather be able to experience these creatures or a hunk of ivory? I thought so.”

“Get to the choppa!” fans of the actor joked in reference to his 1987 role in “Predator.”

“If it bleeds, we can kill it,” added another.

The video gathered over 1.3 million views in less than 24 hours.
