CLEVELAND — The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame here announced Thursday its “playlist” of famous rock songs that poke fun at the most talked-about events from each day of this week’s Republican National Convention.
All the song are by Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees.
Here’s the playlist:

Song: “You’re the Inspiration”
Artist: Chicago, 2016 Rock Hall inductees
Liner notes: Controversy and charges of plagiarism surrounded Melania Trump’s speech Monday, which headlined the Republican National Convention’s opening night. Mrs. Trump’s speech closely mirrored a portion of Michelle Obama’s address to the Democratic National Convention in 2008.
Day Two – Tuesday, July 19

Artist: Elvis Presley, 1986 Rock Hall inductee
Liner notes: New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie gave a fiery speech on Tuesday, asking the crowd to reply “guilty” or “not guilty” while he spoke about Hillary Clinton’s character, judgment and trustworthiness. Spontaneous chants of “lock her up” broke out during the speech.
Day Three – Wednesday, July 20
Song: “Lyin’ Eyes”
Artist: The Eagles, 1998 Rock Hall inductees
Liner notes: Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas gave a stirring address to the convention Wednesday night, but did not endorse Donald Trump, telling Americans to “vote your conscience.” Mr. Cruz, who Mr. Trump nicknamed “Lyin’ Ted during the primary, had previously pledged to endorse whoever won the Republican nomination.
