CLEVELAND — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said Wednesday that every Republican who’s not working for Donald Trump is working for Hillary Clinton — and hinted he could engage in a bit of an “I told you so” to GOP holdouts like Jeb Bush and John Kasich if Mrs. Clinton is elected.
“This is not like a political science class. This is the real world,” Mr. Christie said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “There’s a binary choice here.”
“It’s Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton,” he said. “Donald Trump was not my first choice for president — I was, right? It didn’t work out.”
“I said this to Jeb Bush the other day: it’s chicken or fish, man. It’s one or the other,” he said. “It’s a binary choice.”
“Every Republican who is not working for Trump is working for Clinton,” Mr. Christie said.
Mr. Bush, the former Florida governor and a former 2016 GOP presidential candidate, has yet to endorse Mr. Trump.

In a speech at the Republican National Convention Tuesday evening, Mr. Christie laid out the case against Mrs. Clinton in the style of a prosecutor, after delegates had formally nominated Mr. Trump as the Republican presidential nominee.
“The absolute result of sitting it out is a Hillary Clinton presidency,” Mr. Christie said. “And so when she nominates her third ultra-liberal justice to the Supreme Court, I would look at my friends like Jeb Bush and John Kasich and [say], ’Satisfied?’ “
“’Satisfied? Satisfied now? Your conscience is pure now? Excellent. Good for you,” he said. “But the fact is that he will make good choices for the Supreme Court from the perspective of a conservative.”
Mr. Kasich, the Ohio governor, has likewise not endorsed Mr. Trump, and has been participating in his own events this week in Cleveland.
