GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump is scheduled to be the guest at Liberty University’s first convocation of the year on Jan. 18, according to the university.

Mr. Trump last spoke at the Lynchburg, Virginia, school’s convocation in 2012.

“Since Donald Trump last visited Liberty, our family has stayed in close contact with him and with his top aide, Michael Cohen,” President Jerry Falwell said in a statement. “We are thrilled that they are taking time out of their extremely busy schedule to return to Liberty.”

Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas chose Liberty, which bills itself as the largest Christian university in the world, as the site for his 2016 GOP presidential campaign announcement last March.

Since then, GOP presidential hopeful Dr. Ben Carson has appeared at the school, as has 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernard Sanders.
