ARLINGTON, Texas — Washington Redskins left tackle Trent Williams is inactive for Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Dallas Cowboys.

Williams, who was listed as questionable with knee and foot injuries, only practiced once this week and was limited. With the NFC East title secure, the Redskins took the opportunity to give Williams a rest, who has played through a variety of injuries this season.

With Williams out, Ty Nsekhe will start at left tackle his second game of the season. He started against the New York Jets earlier this season when Williams was out with concussion symptoms.

The other Redskins inactives are free safety Dashon Goldson (broken rib/shoulder), cornerback Quinton Dunbar (quad), running back Matt Jones (hip), defensive end Jason Hatcher (neck/knee), inside linebacker Perry Riley (foot) and quarterback Robert Griffin III.

Hatcher has played through the last three games with a pinched nerve in his neck and was yet to miss a game this season until today.
