Donald Trump’s presidential campaign on Friday released a new television ad to start airing in the early states of Iowa and New Hampshire — an ad that consists of Mr. Trump talking about his plan for the country at a recent rally in Massachusetts.

“We are going to take our country, and we’re going to fix it. We’re going to make it great again,” Mr. Trump says in the 30-second spot, pledging to take care of veterans, fix the military and strengthen the country’s borders.

“We are going to make it great again. We’re going to make it greater than ever before,” he says.

The campaign said the buy is $2 million, with $1.1 million spent in Iowa and almost $1 million in New Hampshire.

“I have tremendous crowds, we are leading all the polls, and there are so many people that want to see our country be greater than ever before,” Mr. Trump said in a statement. “My life has been about winning, and Iowa and New Hampshire are so important to me. This is where we will begin to ’Make America Great Again!’ “
