President Obama is having some “senior moments” on the road this week.

The president forgot what city he was in Thursday morning, wrapping up a town-hall meeting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, by telling the audience, “Thank you, New Orleans!”

On Wednesday, in Omaha, Nebraska, Mr. Obama hesitated while saying that the United States is 250 years old, prompting laughter from his audience. The country is 239 years old.

And Mr. Obama himself is 54.

The president visited Nebraska and Louisiana this week to promote proposals he made in his final State of the Union address.
