New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie says in a new campaign ad that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would be a third term of President Obama and that she’s one of the “architects” of the administration’s foreign policy.

Mr. Christie says in the ad that he’s the only 2016 presidential candidate who’s been responsible for prosecuting and investigating terrorists.

“Hillary Clinton will be nothing more than a third term of Barack Obama,” he says. “She was one of the architects of this foreign policy.”

“We need to send a clear and strong message to our adversaries that there are clear limits to your conduct, and if you violate those limits, America’s going to hold you to account,” Mr. Christie says.

“As president, that would be the top priority — to protect the lives of the people of the United States of America,” he says.

The campaign said the ad will start running Thursday in Iowa, where Mr. Christie is currently running sixth in the latest RealClearPolitics average. He will be one of seven GOP candidates on the main stage Thursday evening at the GOP presidential debate in South Carolina.
