President Obama will host King Abdullah II of Jordan, a key ally in the coalition fighting the Islamic State, at the White House on Feb. 24.
The White House said Monday that Mr. Obama and the king will discuss efforts to counter the Islamist extremist group, to resolve the Syrian conflict, and to help Jordan with the influx of refugees from Syria and Iraq.
“They will also discuss how best to advance prospects for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and other issues of mutual interest,” the White House said.
