GOFFSTOWN, N.H. — Former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina is looking to cash in on her being left out of the eighth GOP presidential debate here in New Hampshire.
Mrs. Fiorina finished ahead of Govs. John Kasich of Ohio and Chris Christie of New Jersey in Iowa, but, unlike them, she failed to meet the criteria that ABC set for participants - marking a major blow to her campaign.
“Party bosses in Washington and media executives in New York are doing everything they can to hijack this election,” she said in a fundraising email.
“Without your voice, New York media executives will continue to make sure every candidate who can beat Hillary Clinton in the fall is silenced and sidelined,” she said.
Businessman Donald Trump, Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Marco Rubio, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson are slated to join Mr. Kasich and Mr. Bush in the 8 p.m. debate at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire.
