GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump’s campaign has announced that Mr. Trump’s scheduled town hall event at the Londonderry Lions Club Friday was canceled because of the snow.
“Due to the weather and the airports being closed Mr. Trump is unable to attend today’s Town Hall at the Londonderry Lions Club,” the campaign said, adding that the event would be rescheduled.
The campaign added that Mr. Trump would be campaigning in New Hampshire on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. The presidential primary is Tuesday.
Mr. Trump, who continues to lead the 2016 GOP field in polling on New Hampshire, did a handful of events in the state Thursday. He frequently flies back to New York from campaign events on the trail.
