ANNAPOLIS — Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan is heading up to New Hampshire this weekend to campaign for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
Mr. Christie was one of Mr. Hogan’s most high-profile supporters during his 2014 gubernatorial bid. Mr. Hogan, a Republican, was running in a state with a 2-1 Democratic to Republican advantage, and Mr. Christie made several trips to the Free State to campaign for him and even donated money during the final stretches of the race.
Mr. Hogan returned the favor, endorsing Mr. Christie for president back in July.
Mr. Hogan said Friday he had never been to New Hampshire for a presidential primary and was looking forward to campaigning for his friend and mentor.
“I’m hoping we don’t get snowed out,” he joked.
