Isaiah Miles scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Saint Joseph’s to an 84-66 win over George Washington Wednesday night, extending its road winning streak to nine games.

DeAndre Bembry scored 14 points, Shavar Newkirk and James Demery added 10 points apiece and Pierfrancesco Oliva hit three 3-pointers for the Hawks (20-4, 9-2 Atlantic 10). Saint Joseph’s shot 57 percent from the field, made 9 of 21 from long distance and never trailed.

Leading by seven at halftime, the Hawks pulled further ahead on a 14-3 run capped by Miles’ back-to-back 3-pointers and led 63-46 with 9:54 left.

Lamarr Kimble’s layup sparked a 10-2 run and the Hawks led by 23, 84-61, with 1:47 to play and the Colonials got no closer than 18 the rest of the way.

Tyler Cavanaugh scored 17 for George Washington (18-6, 7-4) and Patricio Garino added 12.
