NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - State police say a gas station in the New Castle area was robbed by a man who implied he was armed.

The robbery occurred around 7:45 a.m. Saturday at a Shell station on Christiana Road. Police say a man confronted the clerk and demanded cash while implying that he was armed, although he did not show a weapon.

The man got some cash and ran away. No one was injured.

Police say they did not immediately find any surveillance video of the robbery.
