MADISON, Ala. (AP) - Two Huntsville men have been charged in the fatal shooting of a teen at a Sonic Drive-In in Madison.
According to a statement from the Madison Police Department, 18-year-old Jason Ender West died at Huntsville Hospital after being shot Monday afternoon in the Sonic Drive-In parking lot. Police say West was shot during a robbery that may have involved illegal narcotics.
Detectives were able to locate a vehicle matching the description given by witnesses. Further investigation led to the arrest of 22-year-old Dacedric Deshun Ward and 19-year-old Trevor Davis Cantrell, both of Huntsville. Both men have been charged with capital murder and first-degree robbery.
It’s unclear if Ward and Davis have attorneys.
