LAWRENCE, Mass. (AP) - Fire officials say a Christmas Eve pig roast sparked a fire at a triple-decker home in Lawrence.

Deputy Chief John McInnis tells The Boston Globe (https://bit.ly/2ivwoIz ) the roaster was on the back porch of the three-family home when it caught fire around 2:40 p.m. Saturday.

McInnis says no one was injured or displaced in the incident. Hot coals and the pig caught on fire but the porch wasn’t damaged.
