UNION TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A fourth public meeting related to the planned development of a new shooting range in northern Michigan’s Union Township has been scheduled.

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources says it expects a large attendance for the Jan. 5 meeting at Fife Lake Elementary School.

Design plans for the range, proposed rules, a construction timeline and the site selection process will be discussed.

Union Township is in Grand Traverse County.
