MILWAUKEE (AP) - Authorities say two Milwaukee police officers were injured after being stuck by a stolen vehicle.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports (https://bit.ly/2hECCpo ) the officers were treated at a hospital and released after the Saturday afternoon incident.
Police say two 16-year-old Milwaukee boys are accused of breaking into a U.S. Postal Service vehicle and stealing items, along with keys from another car.
Police located that stolen car and attempted to arrest the two teens in the car but they refused to get out of the vehicle. As they fled, the stolen car struck both officers and another vehicle, injuring the driver, whose injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The teens were arrested after a short foot chase. They face charges that include motor vehicle theft and recklessly endangering safety.
