KELLOGG, Idaho (AP) - A 17-year-old girl from Kellogg was injured when her car spun out on a snow-covered Interstate 90 and was hit by a semi.
The Spokesman-Review reports (https://bit.ly/2ie96aB ) that the accident happened at about 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
The Idaho State Police says the girl was driving east in a 1998 Buick Century near Kellogg when she tried to pass a semi carrying cars.
She lost control on the snow-covered road and spun out before being hit by the semi, which was driven by David Boldt of Missoula.
The teen was taken to Shoshone Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
Boldt was not injured. The highway was partially shut down for nearly three hours.
