EAGLEVILLE, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say the cause of death for a Montgomery County pediatrician who was found dead at the county prison this past weekend will take several weeks to determine.

The county coroner’s office is waiting for toxicology results and the return of other testing on 48-year-old David Kennedy before releasing its report on his death.

The Pennsburg man was found dead Sunday at the Montgomery County Prison in Eagleville. It’s unclear whether Kennedy died in his cell or somewhere else in the jail.

Kennedy was facing five counts of possessing child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility charges.

He was arrested last month after a nurse practitioner found sexually graphic photos of children on a cellphone he gave her to answer emergency calls for his practice, Personal Care Pediatrics.
