SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Authorities have made an arrest in connection with the death of a 32-year-old Spokane Valley man who was reported missing in December 2015.

The Spokesman-Review reports (https://bit.ly/2hWbgMA ) the 26-year-old Colby Vodder was arrested Wednesday at a home in Post Falls. He faces a charge of second-degree murder for Bret Snow’s death.

The arrest comes months after authorities confirmed blood and hair found in the backyard of a Newman Lake residence in June belonged to Snow.

Court records show a friend drove Snow to the residence the day before he went missing, and two residents saw him leave the home with a group of people.

Snow’s family reported to police that he may have been killed over a drug deal.

It’s unclear how police have tied Vodder to the crime.
