GQ magazine is recognizing former Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and her running mate Sen. Tim Kaine as two of the “least influential people of 2016.”

The annual list, this year compiled by GQ correspondent Drew Magary, includes all of the people he blames for the election of Donald Trump.

“These are the people who added their own little secret ingredient to the hearty gumbo of American vapidity that gave us President Trump,” he wrote. “Without them, the most ridiculous thing ever to happen never would have happened.”

He said Mrs. Clinton belongs on the list because she lost to a man who probably can’t “tie his own shoes.”

“How do you f— that up??” he wrote. “Would it have killed you to visit Wisconsin, Hillary? I know it’s full of fat people and bad pretzels, but sometimes you gotta come out of your fundraising hole and kiss some babies. I’ll never get over it. I’ll be 80 and on my deathbed and my kids will be around me and I’ll beckon them closer and, in my final moments, I will whisper these words like a secret: ’I can’t believe she lost to that a———.’ “

Mr. Magary also named Mr. Kaine on the list, asking, “Do we know where he is?”

“Does he still exist? Did he ever exist? Or was he simply an enlarged cutout of a stock photo that Hillary Clinton chose as a running mate because her whole campaign consisted of nothing but tragically safe and conservative choices?” he asked. “I’ve had dreams that lingered longer than this guy.”

Other names on Mr. Magary’s list included former Republican presidential candidates, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, and Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson.
