PHOENIX (AP) - The FBI in Phoenix says it has arrested a man on charges of misconduct involving weapons and assisting a criminal syndicate following a terrorism task force investigation.

The FBI says Derrick Thompson was arrested without incident on Tuesday near 30th Street and Osborn.

The feds declined to give details or allegations against Thompson but said the arrest was a result of an investigation by the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force.

The FBI says there aren’t any indications of threats associated with Thompson. Thompson was booked into a local jail and is being charged in state court.
