CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Outgoing Democratic Gov. Maggie Hassan is hosting her final holiday gathering for state employees.
State employees are invited to a Holiday Tea in the Executive Council chambers at 2 p.m. tomorrow. They’ll be joined by Hassan and her husband, First Gentleman Tom Hassan.
The gathering is an annual event to thank state employees for their work. The event will feature live music and ice sculptures courtesy of White Mountain Community College.
Hassan is stepping down from the governorship Jan. 2 and be sworn in as a U.S. Senator on Jan. 3. She defeated Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte in November.
