GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Police say they’ve recovered a FedEx van that was stolen during a carjacking on Tuesday.

Glendale police said Phoenix officers found the van around noon, shortly after it was taken by force. A spokeswoman said the department didn’t have additional details.

Surveillance video shows what appears to be a FedEx driver in Glendale hanging on the side of his van as he gets carjacked during the busy holiday delivery week.

The theft occurred near North 86th Drive and West Oregon Avenue.

FedEx spokeswoman Nikki Mendicino said in a statement that the company is grateful nobody was seriously injured and is fully cooperating with police.

Asked whether the truck was had a GPS tracking system, she said the company does not discuss technology service providers in trucks for security purposes.
