A poor Washington Redskins’ pass defense and offensive mistakes cost the Redskins in the first quarter, trailing the Carolina Panthers 10-3 on Monday night.

Within the last minute of the quarter, Kirk Cousins threw an interception, caught by Kurt Coleman. Coleman returned the interception to the Redskins’ 24.
