MILWAUKEE (AP) - Austin Luke and Taylor Barnette sank 4 of 4 foul shots in the final minute of the game and Belmont held on to defeat Milwaukee 62-56 on Monday night.
Evan Bradds scored 18 points on 9 of 13 shooting and added nine rebounds to lead the Bruins (5-4). Amanze Egekeze added 14 points with 14 rebounds for his second double-double in three games.
Milwaukee came from 11 points down in the final three minutes with a 7-2 spurt thanks to a jumper from Jeremiah Bell, a layup from Bryce Nze and a Brock Stull 3-pointer to get as close as 58-54 with 56 seconds left.
But Barnette, who finished with 10 points, and Luke, who finished with six points and 10 assists, were perfect from the foul line in the final seconds.
Bell and Jeremy Johnson each scored 10 points off the bench for Milwaukee (4-9).
