ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Tacko Fall scored a career-high 31 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to help Central Florida beat Miami (Ohio) 80-73 in overtime on Sunday.

Fall, who entered with the nation’s best field-goal percentage at 81.6 percent, was 11 of 12 from the field and 9 of 12 at the stripe.

Matt Williams opened overtime with a long 3-pointer and his two free throws after a flagrant foul gave UCF a 71-66 lead with 3:47 left. Miami didn’t make its first field goal of the extra session until the 59-second mark when Rod Mills Jr. hit an open 3-pointer and the RedHawks only trailed 73-71.

Williams made two free throws with 22.5 seconds left for a five-point lead but Michael Weathers scored quickly on the other end to get to 76-73. Chad Brown sealed it at the line with two makes.

Williams, a senior, had his second career double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds for UCF (8-3), which snapped a two-game losing streak.

Weathers scored 15 points for Miami (5-6) and Mills added 13 points, including a pull-up jumper to tie it at 66 with 35.8 second left in regulation.
