SHELBURNE, Vt. (AP) - Vermont Teddy Bear is looking for extra help this bustling holiday season as it shops and packs orders up through Christmas.

WCAX-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2hTsHzV) that the Shelburne-based company is so busy this season that it will be hiring seasonal workers up until Dec. 23.

The company’s president said that it’s especially looking for college kids coming home for the holiday. It typically hires up to 700 seasonal workers just for the Christmas holiday.

The Christmas season represents half of Vermont Teddy Bear’s yearly business, which totals over $50 million. Vermont Teddy Bear includes the Vermont Brownie Company, Pajamagram and Pajamajeans
