Jackie Evancho, the teenage “America’s Got Talent” alumna slated to perform at Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration, is out with a cover of John Lennon’s famous — or infamous, depending on your tastes — original Christmas tune, “Happy Xmas (War Is Over).”

People magazine on Friday claimed an exclusive look at Jackie’s duet with YouTube sensation Peter Hollens as they perform the 1971 single by former Beatle John Lennon and wife Yoko Ono.

According to SongFacts.com, Lennon wrote the song as a war protest song in 1971, incorporating as a hook a line he had used in anti-war billboards earlier that read, “War is over! (If you want it).”

“As long as people imagine that somebody’s doing it to them and that they have no control, then they have no control,” Lennon said of his song’s message, according to SongFacts.
